Walking test
What does this test consist of?
It is a simple test, easy to perform, requires little equipment and is well tolerated. It consists of measuring the maximum distance that a person can travel on a flat surface in a period of 6 minutes, monitoring oxygen saturation, heart rate and blood pressure.
Importance
In addition to measuring exercise capacity, the walking test is used to evaluate the response to different treatments and serves to establish the prognosis in different chronic respiratory diseases.
